Seeing the Good Life with Chef Tammy Tu!
I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy during a charity dinner for the Tsunami relief efforts held by Culinary Junkies, a few years ago; became instant friends, and constantly ask her anything food related! She has such a great attitude regarding food. Mindful eating, really. Please take a min and check out her, deliciously tempting to recreate yourself, meals and recipes on her blog.
When considering your attire for a charity function. Remember unless its the CDFA's the main event is the reason you're at the event, not your outfit. Keep it classy San Diego, and ere on the side of slightly professional. Dinner jackets always give a nice polished look, either with slacks, or maxi's. Great time to break out that costume jewelry you may have been saving... and flats, or boots are always nice, most likely you're going to be standing, talking, mingling with the exception of those 30 min when you sit down to enjoy dinner... then its back up on your feet. Platforms pumps not required.

What to wear if you are a Princess on a weekend trip to the country, with the exception of a last minute formal affair.
"She was a touch-and-feel person. When you talked with her, one-on-one, she'd touch your arm, grab your hand, in a sort of affectionate way. She was much better in a small group of people. So you take the looks, the charm, the style, and that wonderful voice and sense of honor and incredible warmth and love of conversation- she was the best company you could ever have." -Paul Wilmot
